For those who want to start from scratch or return to sewing after a break. Today most of our students are Russian-speaking expats; tomorrow — English-speaking Belgrade locals. Classes are held in Russian and English.

OUR STORY
2023
Founded by Oksana Yanko and Irina Belousova — to teach people to sew, appreciate quality fabrics, and create meaningful things.
2025
Since August 2025, the school has been led by Daria Barova — an HR professional with 17+ years of experience in IT and 5+ years of sewing practice.
She combines a structured approach with a love for craft to keep Moda Makers a place where creativity and results go hand in hand.
PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCHOOL
Daria Barova
Head of Moda Makers since August 2025. An HR professional with 17+ years of experience in international IT companies and a practicing sewist with 5+ years in craft. She blends structure and creativity to keep Moda Makers a place of strength — for both artistry and results.
Oksana Yanko
Engineer-technologist and Senior Product Manager. Worked on collections for Russian fashion brands and major projects including the Sochi 2014 Olympic uniforms.
Irina Belousova
Finance and business analytics professional with a sharp mind for strategy and a fine sense of style. Co-founder of the school (November 2023).
